Q:
Why should I believe in the Bible? There are many other books out there that belong to different religions. Only one is correct. How do I know the Bible is correct? Is there a God?
In order to know why you should believe in the Bible, you need to know that the Bible is true. In order to know that the Bible is true, you have to believe that God exists. Look at the world around us. Humans, plants, animals, etc. could not have evolved from other things. They are too complex and we aren't seeing the in-between stages of evolution that are supposed to exist. Life (and our world) couldn't have just "happened". It would take something out of the ordinary to start it all. For example, we'll say there is nothing. Then all of a sudden, there is everything. Wouldn't there be errors if nothing was creating everything? The word god means: a supreme being. That isn't from a religious standpoint. Doesn't that seem to fit the "DNA" of someone who would take the time to carefully mold and create everything and everyone? There are no errors. When God was finished creating, he said: "It is very good" (Genesis 1:31).
Now that you can know that God exists, you may be wondering how you can know the Bible is true. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, "All scripture is God-breathed....". God spoke to these authors and instructed them on what to say. The Bible was written by 40 different authors that were spread out across the earth. It was written over a period of at least 1000 years yet it all flows together in perfect "harmony". The Bible has been together longer than any other book and that verse backs that "theory up".
Believing the Bible. Proverbs 3: 5a says, Every word of God is flawless." Proverbs 3:6 says, "Do not add to His words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar". If we believe that there is God and that the Bible is correct, then what is keeping us from believing it? The events in the Bible were eye-witnessed by writers in the Bible. 2 Peter 1:16 says, "For we did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Q:
Why did God create Satan?
In the beginning, the world was without sin. This means that it was perfect. Satan was the most beautiful angel in heaven (Ezekiel 28:13-14) but he rebelled against God (Isaiah 14:12-14) and was cast down (Isaiah 14:15, Luke 10:18). Satan rebelled, was cast down, was the serpent in the Garden of Eden (partly responsible for bringing sin into the world), and now is a "roaring lion seeking for someone to devour"(1Peter 5:8)-A.K.A temptation.

Q: Why does a loving God allow war and suffering?
Suffering is a result of sin. However, when Jesus healed the blind man in John 9:1-12, the disciples ask if the man or his parents had sinned. Jesus replies that they didn't sin. His blindness was upon that man because Jesus says, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life." (John 9:3) Sometimes, God uses suffering as a consequence for our sins. But other times, God uses those things to try to bring us (or others) closer to Him.
